Endless homeless tents, illegal towing or ticketing practices, corruption, crime, gangs, prostitutions, filth, unaffordable rent, high taxes, expensive gas, rude people, meaningless "friendships." People simply don't give a shit about each other, and that's not only my opinion. "Weeding out the weak." More like, the smart leave to better the quality of their lives. There's a reason everyone has a dog in LA. They don't have friends.

Los Angeles is definitely a cesspool of the evil and mean. It's a mean city because the bureaucracy is mean and it turns the citizens into mean and heartless individuals. I truly blame the local uncaring government for all of the "meanness." The weather sucks, horrible smog which eats at your lungs, warm septic rain at times, hot winds causing terrible fires, antiquated highway system and local roads are weathered and dangerous to maneuver. People tend to live behind tall gates and rarely venture out. They are angry. Don't move to Los Angeles the city of the mean!

You are so right! As a child I lived on Long Beach Avenue, a stone's throw from the legendary Central Avenue. The streetcar line ran right in front of our street. The streetcar was the main mode of transportation for thousands upon thousands of commuters; especially black domestics who commuted to the white affluent areas of LA to work on a daily basis. With this public mode of transportation working well for so many citizens...
who were not entertaining buying the cars that most common poor working people could not afford in the first place......so they forced people to buy cars so that they could move around the city by eliminating that very viable public transportation system.

I see the opposite. They are the only ones working. the Only other race of people working is White. That's it........ Hollywood is for white people and hard working Latinos. They rarely higher blacks . Asian females may get hired, but that's it.

I so agree. I am from New York. I am in the industry. You are lucky to see one or two black people on any set. If it is a black male he is usually gay. If it is a black female she is for sure assimilating. I have been here for 18 years. I am done.
